Samsung Galaxy S20 Leak – What Specs Can We Expect?
There are just a few smartphones that can cause so much excitement in tech fans and one of them is Samsung Galaxy S20 (all the major S-series models to be more precise). Samsung Galaxy S20 leak is one of the most searched terms among tech-savvy people in the last few months. Luckily, they can get a lot of information about this phone, but most of it (unless it comes from Samsung officials) should be taken with a certain level of suspicion. Even the official date of release has not been announced yet. According to the latest rumors, Samsung S20 will be announced in February 2020 and released in April 2020.
Body and display that brings many changes
We have seen a few leaked images of Samsung S20 and based on these images we can assume that this smartphone will be a little bit bigger compared to its predecessors. The dimensions should be around 6.57 x 2.99 x 0.35 inches or 167 x 76 x 8.8 millimeters. As a result of that, this impressive device will weigh more – around 220 grams. You can expect the latest innovations in its built like the latest Gorilla Glass in the front and back and a durable aluminum frame. Just like many other premium Samsung models, this one will come with Single Sim or Dual SIM option, Samsung pay and Ip68 dust/water resistance.
What makes Samsung S20 especially interesting is the display. This long-awaited model will come with a dynamic AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors. It will have a size of 6.9 inches and impressive 114.9 square centimeters screen which means the device will have an excellent 90.6% screen to body ratio. To make users satisfied it will boast a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels with a pixel density of 509 pixels per inch. That’s much better than most of the phones on the market at the moment. Of course, you’ll get the usual always-on display feature, 120 HZ screen and HDR 10+.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Stunning cameras
Instead of three cameras, Samsung S20 will come with four cameras – 108 MP wide camera, 48 MP telephoto camera, 12 MP ultrawide camera, and TOF 3D camera. We still need info about the latter, but there’s no doubt that this camera will revolutionize all future Samsung smartphones. As expected, the phone will feature a panoramic view, auto HDR and LED flash. What’s great is that when it comes to taking videos, you will be able to take 3240p video at 30 frames per second, 2160p videos at 30 or 60 fps, 1080p videos at up to 240 fps and 720p at amazing 960 fps. Don’t forget that these videos will have HDR 10+.
As for the selfie camera (front camera), there will be a dual pixel 40 MP camera. That’s a great camera not just for taking selfies. It features dual video call as well as auto HDR. Thanks to this modern camera placed on the front side, you can take 2160p videos at 30 or 60 fps or 1080p videos at 30 fps.
A long-lasting, fast-charging battery
According to the latest leaks, Samsung S20 will come with a non-removable Li-Po battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. That’s much better than its predecessors. Of course, we will still have to wait to see how long this battery will last before owners have to recharge it. But, the good thing is that there will be a fast battery charging of 45W. The rumors are that with this type of charging you will be able to get from 0% battery to 100% in about 74 minutes. Of course, there will be a fast Qu/PMA wireless charging of 15W too.
Where to Buy Samsung Galaxy S20 in Australia?
Samsung will release the device in 2019 and as with their pre-desseor the S20 or S11 will be available from all main retailers and telcos in Australia; Telstra, Vadafone, Optus, Buy Samsung on Kogan, Mobile Citi, Mobile Trade and of course on the Samsung website. Finally, Samsung S20 should come with the latest Exynos 990 version for the global market and Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 for the US market. All we know about the CPU is that it will be an octa-core unit. Having all these things in mind, it won’t be an exaggeration to say that this will be the best Samsung phone ever and probably among the top 5 smartphones on the market at the moment.Â
